If you love PAF tone but need more output this is the pickup for you.  It uses plane enamel wire which delivers a dry, aggressive tone that doesn't get muddy with high gain.  It uses same construction and materials as the silverback but it's got more heat.  This means it drives your amp better, has more mid-range and more harmonics for people that just have to have it.  This works best in the bridge with a PAF style pickup in the neck for the perfect balance of modern bite and classic crunch.  Potting to control microphonics is standard so you can really crank your amp without having to worry about feedback.

Tone: Fat, dry, with a strong midrange
