This is a pickup for the guitars that does a little bit of everything. It's Slightly hotter than the Swingin' Cool, and has a thick, warm mid-range. It's got a nice balanced tone that isn't too mellow or too aggressive. This one is "Just Right". It works particularly well in the bridge when paired with the Swingin' Cool in the neck and middle. It's also very popular with people that have one my smooth groove pickups in the neck and middle but want a thick warm bridge tone.

These come calibrated for vintage tone on modern guitars which means I use flush poles and demagnetize (degauss) the magnets slightly for that aged alnico sound. The pickups are potted with my own special shellac mixture that helps to further replicate the tone of vintage alnico and well as adding more texture to the tone which helps your guitar sound more alive.

Tone: warm, controlled, with thick midrange.
