The neck is a humbucker sized single coil that is voiced for jazz in
the neck of an LP kit from www.diyguitarshop.com I'm plugged into the second input of the normal
channel and the amp's settings are bass 6, treble 6, Negative feedback
off, cathode bias on.

The amp is set with volume on 12 and the guitar’s
volume is turned way way WAY down. The Bass and treble on the amp are
sitting at around 4 and the presence is at 1 or 2. Notice how there is
absolutely no hum even with the amp on 12. The pickup is a blackback PAF
in the neck of an LP.

Blackback Amp
1x10 15watt
For the start of this soundclip I've got the amp with normal
"blackface" settings. At about 1:12 I turn on cathode
bias and flip on the fat switch for some warmer tones. The
pickup is a blackback PAF in the neck of an LP kit from www.diyguitarshop.com

The amps set up for normal blackface tone with a hint of
reverb. Pickup is a 69 special in a strat knock off that I found
in a ditch.

Same settings as above but switched to a warm gorilla groove middle
pickup on the same strat.

Gorilla Groove middle pickup clean.mp3
Same amp settings as above except with the cathode bias on.
It's a knock off strat with a smooth groove 62 neck pickup.

I'm not sure of the amp settings with this one but
it's another one through my 1x10 with a warm gorilla groove bridge
pickup.

Dirty Box of Fun 1x12
18watt
There is a lot in this soundclip so please read the
explanation
18watt dirty box of fun with
blackback neck and bridge pickups and 26K SOB Neobucker bridge pickup.mp3
To start I'm using the normal channel set as clean as it can be and
I'm using a bridge PAF. After a short pause I turn the volume up
to 5 on the amp and give it some crunch.
After another short pause I switch to the neck pickup tremolo channel
which is much cleaner.
Then I move back into the normal channel again with the volume
low and tone at 5. Then there is another pause and I turn the
volume to 5 for some bluesy overdrive.
Next things get really interesting and switch to my RG with a
26K neodymium pickup in the bridge. I give a quick clip where I'm
playing with the tremolo and toggling between the low and high speed
with the pedal (more speed controls are available on the amp it's self)
and then I jump the 2nd input of the vibrato into the 1st input of the
normal. Plugging into the vibrato channel and then linking the
vibrato to normal gives you all the bright tones of the tremolo Channel
and all the dark tones of the normal and ultimately you end up with
something that acts like a 2 band parametric EQ. At this point I
give you a short sound clip using a pedal for overdrive (it's the
only part of the sound clip where I am using any FX) and then I
switch the pedal back off put the volume of both channels at 10 and
the tone on both channels at 5 for the maximum gain this amp can
get.
I know that's a lot of explanation for one clip but as you listen to the
clip it'll all make sense I promise.
