The silverback is the dominate gorilla in any pack.  My silverback is based on the PAF's of the early 1960's which were among the most powerful and most sought after PAF's in existence.  By the 60's the PAF had matured into a much more powerful beast and it created a new standard for everything else to try and keep up with.

My silverbacks are the most aggressive and highest output PAF's that I make.  Alnico 5 has become the industry standard for humbucker pickups because it's balance of warmth and upper midrange bite makes it so it is suitable for any type of music.  My silverback combines the character of alnico 5, the clarity and bite of plain enamel and the even response and pure power you get from hand winding every pickup.  This truly is the most versatile pickup I've ever heard and when you combine it with the right rig you can play anything from smooth jazz to to Black Metal and anything in between.
