This is a modern interpretation of a PAF.  It's based on the humbuckers Gibson made in the 60's which used poly wire and short AlNiCo V magnets.  It's got a wide open, classic tone that works well for all types of music.  They can handle anything from jazz to modern metal and everything in the middle.  To add harmonic content to the pickup and give it more attitude I do not pot these pickups as standard.  If you do need them wax potted to help control feedback just let me know and I can do that for you.
