This pickup is all about big hair and spandex stretch pants.  It's specifically designed to reproduce the familiar tones of 80's metal but with a thicker high end for added versatility.  It'll do 80's rock and metal perfectly but it's thick high end means it's also got a great voice for modern forms of metal and progressive rock.  Potting to control microphonics is standard so you can really crank your amp without having to worry about feedback.

Tone: Tight bass, powerful midrange and thick high end.
