This is another pickup set based on pickups
from the late 60's. It gives you the tone commonly associated with Hendrix
and Woodstock. They are well balanced with a high end that isn't
glassy, strong midrange, tight bass, and more output than my '69 special set.
These come calibrated for vintage tone on modern guitars
which means I use flush poles and demagnetize (degauss) the magnets slightly
for that aged alnico sound. The pickups are potted with my own special
shellac mixture that helps to further replicate the tone of vintage alnico
and well as adding more texture to the tone which helps your guitar sound
more alive.
